The NYC Infant Toddler Technical Assistance Resource Center, located at the Center for Children's Initiatives (CCI) is a collaborative initiative of the New York City Child Care Resource and Referral Consortium. Consortium members include: Center for Children's Initiatives, Day Care Council of New York, Inc.Child Development Support Corporation, Chinese American Planning Council, Inc., and The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families, Inc.

Coping With Disasters

Center for Children's Initiatives has posted a list of resources for providers on dealing with the aftermath of disasters like Hurricane Sandy. Among these resources are guides to cleaning up after floods, information about lost wages and a link to The National Association for Education of Young Children's guide to explaining disasters to young children

The Center Provides:

Information for childcare providers on caring for infants and toddlers, from birth to age three years in multiple languages.

Training and professional development opportunities for infant/toddler staff, program directors and family child care providers.

Resource library (books, materials, educational videos) available at each CCR&R member office.

Technical Assistance for potential and existing providers regarding best practices, regulatory requirements and program accreditation.
