Welcome to the New York City Infant Toddler Technical Assistance Resource Center

The NYC Infant Toddler Technical Assistance Resource Center, located at the Center for Children's Initiatives (formerly Child Care, Inc.) is a collaborative initiative of the New York City Child Care Resource and Referral Consortium. Consortium members include: Day Care Council of New York,Inc., Child Development Support Corporation, Chinese American Planning Council, Inc.Center for Children's Initiatives and The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families, Inc..

 

The Center Provides:

Information for childcare providers on caring for infants and toddlers, from birth to age three years in multiple languages.

Training and professional development opportunities for infant/toddler staff, program directors and family child care providers.

Resource library (books, materials, educational videos) available at each CCR&R member office.

Technical Assistance for potential and existing providers regarding best practices, regulatory requirements and program accreditation.

"Weaving a Tapestry: Connecting Communities of Practice for Infants, Toddlers and Families"

Request For Proposal (RFP): Citywide Infant Toddler Conference PDF 

This is an exciting professional development opportunity for all who work with infants, toddlers and their families. On July 8, 2010, The New York City Infant Toddler Resource Center, The Educational Psychology Department & The Child Development and Learning Center of the CUNY Graduate Center and the New York City Early Childhood Professional Development Institute are sponsoring a day-long conference at The Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Avenue, in New York City. An "Early Bird" Special of $40 (including continental breakfast, lunch and materials) with Pre-registration starts on April 15th and ends on May 14th.

Theme: The conference will focus on all aspects of infant-toddler care, birth to three years, with an emphasis on the multi-layered communities that serve and have an impact on the health, education, and well-being of infants, toddlers, and families.

We invite you to submit a proposal for a workshop related to the main objective of the conference: to create connections and share knowledge and practices across systems to support optimal outcomes for infants, toddlers and families.
