Welcome to the New York City Infant Toddler Technical Assistance Resource Center

The NYC Infant Toddler Technical Assistance Resource Center, located at the Center for Children's Initiatives (CCI) is a collaborative initiative of the New York City Child Care Resource and Referral Consortium. Consortium members include: Center for Children's Initiatives, Day Care Council of New York, Inc.Child Development Support Corporation, Chinese American Planning Council, Inc. and The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families, Inc. 

2015 Infant Toddler Conference

Please join us at our upcoming 2015 Citywide Infant Toddler Conference, "It's A Small World After All: Building Cultural Awareness and Sensitivity in Infant-Toddler Teachers & Caregivers" at UJA-Federation of New York, 130 East 59th Street, NYC 8:00am-4:00pm on Friday, July 24, 2015.The conference is co-sponsored by the  New York State Office of Children & Family Services.

In addition to our informative presenters, a variety of exhibitors, health & education resource partners and community organizations will be on hand. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance and one training hour for each session attended (a total of 4 training hours for those that stay for the full-day.

Tip Sheets

We know parents and providers face many challenges in dealing with our youngest learners and some are trickier than others. The New York City Infant Toddler Technical Assistance  Resource Center has created tip sheets with strategies to address some of the toughest challenges like potty training and early literacy. The Center Provides:

Information for childcare providers on caring for infants and toddlers, from birth to age three years in multiple languages.

Training and professional development opportunities for infant/toddler staff, program directors and family child care providers.

Resource library (books, materials, educational videos) available at each CCR&R member office.

Technical Assistance for potential and existing providers regarding best practices, regulatory requirements and program accreditation.
